Our Mission
Bilateral trade between Türkiye and Bulgaria exceeds €7.7 billion a year — yet most of that volume still flows through traditional channels burdened by middlemen, trust issues and language barriers. Komshia was founded to digitalise this bridge.
Our mission is simple: make trade between the businesses and consumers of two neighboring countries accessible to everyone — with escrow protection, a transparent commission and a trilingual (Turkish, Bulgarian, English) experience.
That is where our name comes from — "komshia" (комшия), the word both languages share: neighbor.

The Company
Komshia is established in Burgas, Bulgaria. As a company based in the European Union we operate in full compliance with the GDPR, and with the KVKK for our users in Türkiye.
Our sellers are registered businesses in Türkiye and Bulgaria; our buyers are both corporate (B2B) and individual (B2C) customers.
